American Advertising Awards Competition
Each New Year, we reflect on the year past, giving us an opportunity to revel in the work we’ve completed, showcase our very best projects, and share it with our colleagues and community… And submit it for an American Advertising Federation Award. (The recognition is first-rate, and let’s be honest, the trophies are pretty dang cool!)
The American Advertising Awards is the advertising industry’s largest and most representative competition, attracting more than 40,000 entries each year across the nation. The mission of the American Advertising Awards competition is to recognize and reward the creative spirit of excellence in the art of advertising.

The American Advertising Federation of Northeastern Pennsylvania (AAF NEPA) presents the American Advertising Awards on an uber-local level annually to honor exceptional advertising created in the greater Wilkes-Barre/Scranton/Hazleton metropolitan market. Awards are presented in categories representing all forms of advertising including online, print, broadcast and out-of-home. American Advertising Awards winners in NEPA then compete at a district level with the chance to advance to the national competition.

Alongside the professional entries, the Student Division is a unique national awards program designed especially for college students. Work entered at the local level can advance to the regional and national judging, just like the work entered by professionals. AAF NEPA has one of the largest and most competitive student competitions in our region. We are proud to say several national Gold Student winners entered the competition first right here in Northeast Pennsylvania.

Silver Medal Award Nominations
The American Advertising Federation (AAF)'s Silver Medal Award Program was created with the goal of recognizing men and women who push the field of advertising.
Rising Star Award Nominations
This new AAF award is intended to celebrate young professionals and students under the age of 24 who are expected to do great things!
