Join AAF NEPA for a visit to the Danny Lyon: Civil Rights Exhibition at Misericordia University! The exhibition is free and open to the public. About the exhibition: Step into a powerful visual history at Danny Lyon: Civil Rights Exhibition, now on view at Misericordia University’s Pauly Friedman Art Gallery (2nd Floor, Insalaco Hall). Featuring 57 photographs, the exhibition captures Danny Lyon’s documentation of the daily work, risks, and resolve of the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee (SNCC), humanizing the Civil Rights Movement through moments of determination, exhaustion, and hope—while drawing connections to struggles for justice today. Visitors are encouraged to use the Mercy Lot near Bevevino Library and the Transparent Bus Shelter for the most accessible parking.
