In her new role as Grants Manager, Sherry is responsible for researching funding opportunities; developing all relative grant applications and materials; initiating and administering new programs and special initiatives; planning, directing, and monitoring grant compliance; and much more.

Prior to serving as Grants Manager for the City of Scranton, Sherry served as Public Relations Specialist for Marywood University. In her role as PR specialist, Sherry specialized in working with multiple constituents both on and off campus, writing, researching, decision making, playing a key role in communications initiatives, and working as a member of the marketing team. Her passion for meeting new people, learning about their academic and professional achievements, and sharing those achievements with the community, are considered, by her, as her most valued accomplishments.

Sherry Frable earned her bachelor of arts degree in History, with a minor in business management. She is a member of multiple task forces and service committees, and she is proud to be a graduate of Leadership Lackawanna’s Core Program. She looks forward to serving as a new AAF board member and advancing all future AAF initiatives.
