Ad Day at The University of Scranton included an informative panel made up of former NSAC participants, as well as Dan Antonelli ’92 who now runs a design firm in New York. It was great hearing about experiences and advice for students in the audience. There was detailed discussion about best practices in the advertising industry, as well as the different strategies for the National Student Advertising Competition.
Later on, students broke into teams and were challenged to find a solution to a hypothetical advertising issue. Each had to come up with a marketing strategy, copy, and a logo in 15 minutes. The panel discussed ideas and chose the most successful approach. Overall, a great day and several important connections were made. We look forward to creating stronger ties with The University of Scranton, as well as other colleges in the area to get students more involved in the AAF NEPA.
