Please join us for our annual holiday party on December 15th at 6pm at POSH at SC! All are welcome!
Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, PA – November 13, 2016 – Join the American Advertising Federation of NEPA for an evening of fun, food, and holiday cheer as the local chapter hosts their annual holiday party. Held at POSH at the Scranton Club from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 15, 2016, AAF NEPA invites all to join the chapter as they reflect on accomplishments over the past year, buzz about the upcoming ADDY Awards of 2017, and partake in the reveal of the new look for local nonprofit organization – Employment Opportunity & Training Center (EOTC). EOTC was the beneficiary of AAF NEPA’s inaugural fundraising event Cropped 2016, which took place on November 21st.
Participants from this live event competed against fellow creatives comprised of local talent in the marketing, advertising, design, and communications professions. Working together, they developed a new look for the organization, with a goal to rejuvenate the EOTC brand and align the name and look with the organization’s current efforts and initiatives. The winning creative team, comprised of Helen Lavelle of Lavelle Strategy Group, Joey Zarcone of Posture Interactive and Christa Porasky, a student at Misericordia University, designed a new logo, new tagline, and print advertising concepts, all of which will be revealed at the holiday party, kicking off the new campaign for EOTC. Come celebrate this holiday season with AAF NEPA!
AAF NEPA will be collecting unwrapped books, games, and toys for Toys for Tots on behalf of The Cooperage Project, a non-profit in Honesdale, PA dedicated to community building through events, live music, farmers’ markets, and learning opportunities. Members and guests are encouraged to bring a donated item to continue the spirit of giving.
