AAF Silver Medal Award Criteria

Silver Medal recipients are selected by a panel of judges from each local club. Judges use the following criteria when making their selections:

National AAF Silver Medal Criteria:

Contribution to His/Her Company

The recipient must have achieved success in one of the following areas of work: advertising agency, advertiser, media or advertising service.

Creative Ability

The recipient must have shown a consistent, high degree of original thinking in their field.

Contributions to the General Advancement of Advertising

The recipient must have worked to increase the stature and raise the standards of the advertising profession.

Contributions to the Community

The recipient should be someone who has been active in civic, religious, or other groups dedicated to human or social welfare.


NEPA AAF Silver Medal Criteria:

Client/Community Impact

Significant client/community impact through the application of advertising, marketing (and similar fields) theory, principles and practices while working client engagements.

Educational Impact

Commitment to others through teaching, mentoring, writing, speaking, blogging, and sharing information.

Advertising Awareness and Understanding

Writing, speaking, teaching, and delivering public presentations that have significantly contributed to the advancement of the field of advertising, marketing or similar fields as well as growing the awareness and understanding of the value the AAFNEPA brings to the community.

Regional Advancement of Advertising

Advancement and recognition of NEPA advertising, marketing (and similar fields) through work with national and international clients and organizations.

Advertising Leadership

Ownership or executive leadership of an advertising, marketing or similar type agency, company or organization promoting the development of area talent through employment, training and recognition.
